Hey guys.

I want to thank everyone for putting in their best effort during the debate, though we didn’t manage to enter the finals for the inter-class competition. I’m still proud of each and everyone of you, because I know everyone did their very best.

To Vidhi:

Thank you for being able to listen to the propo’s arguments and noting down some of their flaws in their definition. Also, I would like to thank you for accepting the role as a second speaker without questioning me when I re-arranged everyone’s speaker roles. Since you have never been in debate before, hopefully you’ve learnt something from these two rounds. Congratulations on receiving the best speaker award, I’m sure the team’s happy for you! (:

To Stacy:

Thank you for spending your precious sleep-time and possibly your bonding time with your bunnies to come up with the preemptive rebuttals as the third speaker. Don’t take it too hard on yourself that you ‘screwed up’ on the floor, but take it as a learning experience. You’ve always said that in your club, it’s never fair because the JG speakers are always the same so I hope that through these two rounds, you have learnt something out of it. I’m still proud of you nonetheless, because you never fail to make the audience laugh ^^

To Insyirah:

Thank you for always being the most reliable speaker with her speech around. Although you always get really flustered before the competition, you’re a totally different person on the floor, and it’s good to see that you’re so confident of yourself. Thank you for being able to listen to everything that everyone has to say in the limited 2 minutes, and in my opinion, you have been the best reply speaker I’ve worked with. You did well, and I’m sure everyone thinks the same way too (:

To Juiee:

Thank you for accepting (though a bit reluctantly) the first speaker role for the first round, and I’m pretty sure you enjoyed yourself while speaking to the audience! But since we made a pact, I had to man up and take on your role afterwards. Also, thank you for being such a good listener as a reserve during the second round, pinpointing out certain things all the 4 speakers on the floor missed out on. I had a wonderful time working together with you, and I hope that we could all come together someday to do this once again.

I’m such a weakling.

I think there are many things to thank you for. But I really don’t know where to start, so let’s just begin from the time when you first wished me a happy birthday and talked to me. It was pretty unexpected that someone, whom I’ve lost contact with for six years, suddenly wishes a ‘Happy birthday Elysia. Long time no see.’ to me. I was… Happy, since a few days before, I was depressed that I was always the one that had to constantly keep in touch with others. I felt that no one actually made an effort to, and also had this thinking that maybe I should give up, you know? 

I will now move on to where you always answer my questions, no matter how ridiculous they might sound to you. And honestly, your troll mode is hilarious, it lightens the mood :D Then comes your hobbies, which are queer for a teenager but I guess it’s something that makes you unique. You’re not that eccentric/ old-fashioned, you still watch anime. And only stereotypical people would think wearing collared shirts, leather shoes and collecting pens as a hobby are old-fashioned people. Anyway, everyone’s into vintage recently, so if others say you’re old-fashioned, the pot’s calling the kettle black heh.

I also want to apologize for being so awkward when we met at Manpuku. I told you I was awkward around guys to begin with, and I think it must have been an eye-opener for you == Well, at least everything was alright in the end (I guess).

Thank you for saying that we were close in your wall post. I didn’t want to put an ‘x’ there because I feared that you wouldn’t consider us as ‘close’. I’m really happy (though I think it’s just a trivial matter to you) though! ^^ Uhm okay I know this will be really awkward but. Thank you for liking me. I mean, I feel that you deserve someone so much better but currently I’m just glad that I know someone cares ^^ I’m sorry for making the mood here awkward but if I were to be honest, October was pretty much one of the months that I was really happy, and you’re mainly the reason. So thank you again :D

2011’s ending. I hope you’ll be able to smile everyday (if it’s possible. Go do something you enjoy, or maybe read this to even cheer you up HAHAHA #ego.) and we’ll still be able to keep in touch (:

HEY QURL/ BRUDDAH/ AWKWARD TURTLE.

Probably the most suitable picture for you that I can ever find! Haha, I remember you telling me that your inspiration of your URL was because you were a dreamer, thus, this picture.

Firstly, thank you for being the blur-est person I know in the entire history! I thought I was the only one who didn’t get Physics questions and stares at them like an idiot, but it’s okay, I’ve found a partner. Secondly, your lame jokes are for the win, really. (e.g. LUMDHAAA. Awkward balloon, Llama song thingo) Your actions/ words never fail to make me laugh, so I always look forward to your company during Physics. I also want you to know that I’m grateful for being able to become friends so quickly with you. Initially, when Mrs Quek said that I had to join a few other girls, I was pretty worried I couldn’t click with the ‘girls’. I guess I was wrong, haha. Your warm and bubbly personality made it easy for me to be comfortable and even awkward around you 8D Lastly, I’m also happy for you that you improved in your Physics, though you said you made silly mistakes, but it’s alright, you did your best back then! You fully deserved that pizza, congratulations.

The year’s ending, and although we’ve only met in July, I feel like I’ve known you for a very long time. Let’s continue to work hard for Physics and do Mrs Quek proud, yes? :D

Hello quurl. FEEL HONOURED OKAY, THIS IS THE FIRST POST (:

This is to thank you for all the phone calls that you always do almost every week, where we talk about the good times, rant about our issues, stay up late in the night to talk about stuff we wouldn’t share to anyone else :D Your encouragement, warm words and forever hyper self makes me feel happy around you.

We’ve known each other since eons ago (probably the Land before Time LOL) and you’re the only one who’s always keeping in touch with me, so I’m really grateful for you doing this. Come on, it’s pretty rare for someone to actually bother to keep up with people, isn’t it? Yes, you’re a unicorn for doing that (:

I know I can only listen to your problems in life, since I suck at comforting people (really, I do) and cheering people up, lol. But I hope that after talking about your problems everytime, you’d feel better and know that someone will be there for you, even if she can’t actually say encouraging words xD

2011’s going by fast, and I hope we can study together soon~
